Before moving to Canada, I worked as a General Practitioner (GP) for twenty years in Malaysia. For five years before I left Malaysia, I ventured into anti-aging laser treatments. I developed a penchant for it and wanted to carry on pursuing it as a career. When I moved to Canada thirteen years ago, I established my anti-aging business by opening my own Surani Laser Clinic in Toronto.
My owner operated-The Surani Clinic in Toronto and my practice is Malaysia has helped me indulge in my passion for helping people feel and look good by providing anti-aging and hair removal laser treatments.
It hasn’t always been smooth sailing. Back when I moved to Canada, it was very challenging as I was a new immigrant and struggled to understand how the industry runs here in Canada. Over the past couple of years, my clinic has progressed well, and I am happy to say that I have a steady flow of clients, including some very loyal clients.
I attribute my growth and success to my honesty and the trust my clients have put in me. All this is possible because I listen to my clients’ concerns and do my best for each client and go out of the way to give any extra time if needed.
I always look forward to seeing my clients regularly to doing laser treatments for them. Moreover, the most rewarding parts of owning my clinic are the flexible hours and being able to provide excellent service and giving as much time as possible to each individual without being rushed or pressured by anyone. There’s also no better feeling than listening to my clients talk about how their friends or family members commented on how good their skin looks.
When I am not at work, I love to go to the gym and workout or go for a brisk walk with friends. I am also learning the game of Bridge.
